After significant weight loss the thighs are often the last thing to settle, and usually they never do. A thigh lift removes the loose skin and reshapes the leg so that walking, sport and clothing stop being a daily reminder. It is the operation people quietly wait years for.
…the inner thighs rub and chafe no matter your weight; skin hangs in a fold above the knee; the outer thigh has a shelf that leggings only emphasise; or you have lost a lot of weight and everything else has been addressed except this. Firmness here is skin, not muscle, so squats will not change it.
If the excess is mostly fat and the skin still snaps back, liposuction alone can be enough and leaves almost no scar. We will say so if that is your case, even though it is the smaller operation.
The most common. The incision hides in the groin crease, and for larger corrections extends down the inner thigh where the leg naturally closes.
For circumferential looseness after major weight loss, often planned together with a lower body lift so the lines match all the way round.
Fat removed and skin redraped in one operation, the usual combination when both are present.
Thigh skin is thin and carries weight with every step, which is why technique and closure matter more here than almost anywhere else. This is not an operation to choose on price.
Airport pick-up in a private Mercedes, hotel, rest.
Blood tests and your in-person consultation, where the incision plan is agreed and drawn.
Your operation, then the night in hospital under round-the-clock care.
Hospital recovery with daily checks; you will be walking short distances sooner than you expect.
Hotel rest in compression garments, daily coordinator visits, gentle walking.
Wound check, final examination, clearance to fly, aftercare plan for home.
